In support of our mission and goals, we engage in the following activities: · Supervising the production of halal products · Certifying the production of halal · Leading discussion about topics affecting the halal consumer · Finding solutions for ever-evolving challenges · Publishing relevant information · Maintaining ‘best in class' producers for halal production Foods containing ingredients such as gelatin, enzymes, emulsifiers, etc. are questionable (Mashbooh) because the origin of these ingredients is not known. Halal Certified ProductsThe products classified halal are manufactured by producers who have meet the stringent JAKIM halal certification standards for producing halal products. These stringent standards include: · Any products containing ingredients derived from meat or poultry have been produced with halal meat or poultry. · All ingredients have been thoroughly checked and found to be acceptable under the halal standards. · All production procedures have been approved by JAKIM. · All products handling procedures have been approved by JAKIM. · Wherever required, JAKIM inspectors supervised the production.
